This article provides a list of the airports in Bangladesh . All airports by the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (বেসামরিক বিমান চলাচল কর্তৃপক্ষ, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh operated).

Bangladesh has three international airports, six domestic airports and several STOL ( Short Take-off and Landing ) airports .
Another domestic airport is planned in Khulna ( Khan Jahan Ali Airport ). The foundation stone was laid in 1996, but construction work on it was interrupted in 1997. The project is to be resumed by 2020.
There are also numerous smaller airfields that were built during World War II. The most common type of aircraft used on domestic flights is the De Havilland DHC-8 . According to the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), an airport at which this type of aircraft is to land should have a runway at least 1200 to 1800 meters long × 45 meters wide. The domestic airports of Saidpur , Barisal and Rajshahi did not meet these requirements in 2015. The track length was sufficient, but not the width, which was only 30 meters. However, the responsible regulatory authority, the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh , declared the airports to be sufficiently safe for this type of aircraft.

Airports

Regular commercial flights are only available from the three international airports and the airports for domestic flights (unless otherwise indicated). Many of these airfields are also used by the Bangladeshi Air Force .
