List of cultural assets in Thunstetten

The list of cultural assets in Thunstetten contains all objects in the municipality of Thunstetten in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in category A and B are fully included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

six hundred and twenty-three thousand eight hundred and sixty-six  /  228322
Castle built between 1711 and 1713 according to plans by Joseph Abeille and under the direction of master builder Abraham Jenner . The dominant center of the three-wing complex is a raised ground floor under a very high and steep, slightly broken hipped roof with dormer windows , chimneys and spherical attachments. This is followed by very long, slender, five-part side wings that form a deep, elongated courtyard .

The church building, built in 1745, was built in place of the Johanniter Coming, first mentioned in 1220 and secularized in 1528 . Sermon hall closed on three sides under a hipped roof with bird hall. The tower was taken over from the previous building and incorporated symmetrically into the eaves-side access front with two window portal motifs. Next to it is the rectory , which dates back to the 13th century and was rebuilt around 1630 , a stately plastered building under a crooked hip roof.
