List of cultural assets in Herzogenbuchsee

The list of cultural assets in Herzogenbuchsee contains all objects in the municipality of Herzogenbuchsee in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

The inn , built in 1787, is a stately, late Baroque solid building under a protruding, bent full hipped roof . The nine-axis main facade has a carefully designed limestone structure with corner blocks, cornices and arched windows. The central axis is emphasized by a Louis- Seize portal frame with building inscriptions, coat of arms and house symbols. The south-facing extension in the neo-baroque home style is formally and creatively based on the old building.

The grand-looking mill , built in 1805, is a massive plastered building in the classical style with a sweeping mansard roof , the facades of which are structured by pilasters in a colossal order. Vis-à-vis is the 1790 built Mühlehof, a stately truss - farmhouse under quarter hipped roof with two Ründen (the road side is provided with Tells Apfelschuss and Rococo - cartridge painted).

The core of the parish hall has existed since 1566/68, the current appearance is shaped by the renovation between 1753 and 1755. The stately, late-baroque plastered building under a bent full hipped roof has small portholes as well as corner blocks and window frames made of sandstone . Opposite is the former granary , built in 1581/82 and expanded in 1758 . The oldest preserved building in the community is a powerful, plastered solid structure under a partial hipped roof with open air.

Church building built in 1728, the three previous buildings date back to the 9th century and were consecrated to Saint Martin of Tours until the Reformation . The simple baroque hall church with a rectangular choir has an impressive full hipped roof and high arched windows, to which the late Gothic church tower with a pointed helmet is attached .
