List of cultural assets in Wynau

The list of cultural assets in Wynau contains all objects in the municipality of Wynau in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in category A are fully included in the list, objects in category B are not shown in the municipality, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

The originally single-nave Romanesque church building was extended to a basilica around 1270/80 , and in the first half of the 14th century the apse was replaced by a polygonal choir ; the roof turret dates from 1606. The interior is dominated by the painting by Paul Zehnder , a rare example of a wall design entirely in a historicizing Heimat style.

The Stöckli with storage facility , built in the first half of the 18th century, is a picturesque half-timbered building under a bent, hipped gable roof . Mighty mortised threshold timbers rise above the basement plinth made of rubble stones . The windows are arranged in groups of three with a continuously profiled window sill.

The rectory built in 1705/06 is a stately plastered building with limestone structure and an attached pfrund barn under a shared full hipped roof . Axially located entrance with finely profiled door walls and skylight with door roofing, above it a beautifully sculpted coat of arms of Heinrich Andres. A stairwell with a half-timbered upper floor protrudes from the structure.
