List of cultural assets in Aarwangen

The list of cultural assets in Aarwangen contains all objects in the municipality of Aarwangen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of June 29 , 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

Gable-independent residential floor built in 1767 . Magnificent half-timbered building under a quarter- hipped roof with rounds , attached to it is a barn under a transverse gable. Five-axis front with rich polychrome painting depicting an oriental city, monkeys and other wild animals. Some of the shutters and the bird hall are ornamentally painted.

Striking building complex, dominated by an early Gothic main tower and renovated in baroque style, directly on the Aare . Its core dates from the 13th century, the symmetrically designed extensions were added in 1637/38.

In the years 1616/17 and built in 1681 increased by one floor granaries . Exceptionally voluminous, gable-free plastered construction under a bent quarter-hipped roof with a simple freebound construction. The door and window walls are made of sandstone and partly limestone.

Church building built in 1577 and one of the earliest new reformed church buildings ever, even if it is still strongly committed to the pre-Reformation building tradition. Rectangular nave under a steep gable roof , the choir has an irregular polygonal finish. Stained glass from the 16th to 18th centuries.
