This is a list of cities in Chad .
By far the largest agglomeration in Chad is N'Djamena with a population of 1,356,832 (as of May 20, 2009). This means that around 16 percent of the country's people live in the capital region.
The following table lists the cities with more than 10,000 inhabitants, the results of the census of April 8, 1993, for May 20, 2009 and the region to which the city belongs. The population figures of the cities listed refer to the respective urban settlement in the narrower sense, not to the city or municipality in the political sense.
