This is a list of cities in Eritrea .
By far the largest agglomeration in Eritrea is Asmara with a population of 1,034,575 (as of January 1, 2005). A quarter of the country's population is thus concentrated in the capital region.
The table shows the cities with more than 3000 inhabitants, the results of the census from May 9, 1984, an estimate for January 1, 2005 and the province to which the city belongs. The population figures refer to the actual city without the suburbs.
