This is a list of cities in Cape Verde .
By far the largest agglomeration in Cape Verde is Praia with a population of 264,066 (as of January 1, 2005). This means that 55 percent of the country's population is concentrated in the capital region.
The following table lists the cities with more than 400 inhabitants, the results of the census of June 23, 1990 and June 16, 2000, a calculation for January 1, 2005 and the concelho to which the city belongs. The population figures refer to the actual city without the suburbs.
