The current leader in the world rankings, Mohamed Elshorbagy .
With 100 months at the top of the squash world rankings, Jahangir Khan is the most successful player in the all-time ranking.

The list of world number one in the men's squash lists all the leaders of the individual ranking of the PSA squash world ranking since the ranking was introduced in January 1975.

The site initially lists all world number one in chronological order. In the other tables, the respective number one at the end of the year and the leaders according to the number of weeks at the top of the ranking are listed.

Since the introduction of the rating, a total of 20 players have topped the squash world rankings. The first world leader was Qamar Zaman , the current leader is Mohamed Elshorbagy . At 100 months, Jahangir Khan was the longest overall world number one, nine months longer than his longtime rival and compatriot Jansher Khan . Jahangir Khan (six years) also holds the record for the longest uninterrupted period at the top of the rankings. Both Jahangir and Jansher Khan (8 each) hold the record for most seasons that ended in position 1.
