Anton Kratky-Baschik 1821 1889 There are contradicting information regarding his date and place of birth. The Hall of Fame indicates that Anton Kratky-Baschik was on January 11, 1821 in Kozlány. The Austrian Biographical Lexicon gives January 11, 1810 in Kozlány, the Artist's Lexicon, November 6, 1820 in Prague. And while the inscription on the plaque of the Kratky-Baschik crypt in the Vienna Central Cemetery states 1822, the grave directory of the Vienna Central Cemetery administration from 1889 shows his total age at 69 years.
