The first building dates back to 1098. Due to numerous renovations, one can recognize Gothic and Baroque elements in addition to Romanesque elements. Since the last major redesign, the interior has been shown in delicate colors in the Rococo style . The nave has three naves, each with four yokes, which are spanned with Bohemian caps . The choir connects seamlessly to the nave. It has two yokes , a 5/8 end and is provided with a dome . The curved organ gallery is supported by consoles . The side aisles end in single-yoke chapels that are cordoned off with baroque wrought iron bars. The decorations of the yokes, pillars and caps consist mainly of stucco . The high altar is built into one eighth of the end. The organ was first made in 1682 by a Passau master for the Kremsmünster monastery . In 1855 the monastery sold the organ to the Kirchberg chaplain . The base of the tower is Romanesque and Gothic, the bell chamber is Baroque. The double onion helmet was renewed in 1986 after severe storm damage according to its baroque model. It is also remarkable that the four bells were not melted down in any of the great wars because of their art-historical value.

The Kremsmünster left the large cruciform sanctuary from 1687 to 1690, designed by Carlo Antonio Carlone built. The church was never fully completed and was only consecrated in 1715. Also worth mentioning are the vestibule lattices marked 1618, which were moved here from the Kremsmünster collegiate church. An additional element had to be made from scratch (first quarter of the 18th century)

The former court judge's house was built in the 18th century and is probably one of the most outstanding examples of the architectural diversity of the Kremsmünster market. The front side with its five axes and the gable in the middle is richly structured and shines in a light blue. The windows on the upper floor are artistically barred and decorated with gilded stucco. The pilaster strips and the doors on the east side are also crowned with gilded stucco. The interior with its stucco ceilings, vaults and floors comes mainly from the time of construction.

The cross-shaped central building with a prominent longitudinal axis was built in 1736–1737 on a hill opposite the Kremsmünster monastery. Presumably Johann Michael Prunner contributed to the execution. Perched on roof an elaborately designed baroque ridge turret . In the dome and on the niches, Wolfgang Andreas Heindl painted excellent frescoes. At the high altar there is a crucifixion group with life-size figures. The two oil paintings on the side altars are works by Bartolomeo Altomonte .

The property is the former estate of the Kremsmünster Abbey from around 1640. The residential wing and the former Rossstall are largely unchanged. The early baroque plastered facade is made using the "reed or broom banding technique" and has a pseudo-squaring of the corners, window frames and floor strips using this perforated plastering technique. Inside you will find richly carved Riemling ceilings and historic floors made of wide posts . Valuable cross-frame windows with predominantly original, lead-framed honeycomb glazing have been preserved on the upper floor .
