The three-aisled, five-bay late Gothic hall church was built between 1471 and 1491. It had to be renovated several times as a result. The church burned down in 1512, and the choir vault collapsed in 1654. The choir was newly vaulted until 1663. In 1721 the vault of the nave was removed and rebuilt. The two eastern bays bear a flat hanging dome vault , over the three other bays of the central nave there is a lancet barrel vault . The side aisles are vaulted with mesh ribs or groin. The choir with a 3/8 end has a hanging dome vault. The tower with an onion helmet from 1889 stands south of the choir. The two lower levels are Gothic , the three upper floors were completed in 1690. The tympanum contains the remains of a Gothic fresco (Christ on the Mount of Olives) from the 15th century. The furnishings are neo-Romanesque , the high altar picture and some statues are from the 18th century. Two engraved gravestones in the portal vestibule are also noteworthy.
