Small, Gothic, Romanesque building from the 14th century, surrounded by a cemetery wall. Changed in the early baroque and after the fire in 1911. Northern groin vaulted sacristy extension, eastern turret with a pointed roof covered with shingle; Long house with stone slab. Canopy on square pillars. Arched entrance, side offering table. On the south wall there is a wall painting of Saint Christopher from the 16th century. Longhouse with flat roof. Wooden west gallery. Round arched triumphal arch. Elongated choir with one bay, 3/8 end, groin vaulted. Small arched windows from the 14th century.

The evangelical parish hall and sermon point is a simple hall construction with a wooden structure on pile supports. The building, built in 1936 by master carpenter Stefan Hofer based on designs by Hermann Schütz, is covered with a gable roof. On the main facade there is a bell carrier and counter gable. The building was renovated in 2009. The parish hall is assigned to the Protestant parish of Pörtschach.

The outbuildings to the west of the rectory are a château with a wooden post construction ( bundwerk ) and arcades on the upper floor, as well as a brick building with three pillar arcades on one of the eaves and brick grids on the gable fronts.

The late Gothic castle consists of two four-storey buildings (the western one from the 16th, the eastern one from the 17th century) with a high hip roof. An arcade connects the castle with a southern two-storey farm building. To the north there is a lining wall and remains of a tower. In the castle chapel with a wooden coffered ceiling there is a painting and an altar from the 17th century. In the oldest part of the castle there is a remarkable late Gothic hall and stucco ceilings from 1590.

The castle is on a steep hill. It was documented in 1333 by Friedrich von Hallegg; Generously expanded under Adam von Hallegg around 1600. Today privately owned. Repairs since 1973. 1996/97 adaptation work for residential purposes inside. Restoration of the courtyard and exterior facades. Large building with an irregular floor plan with outer castle gates (partly dilapidated). A round tower on the west side; north two corner bay windows on corbels; Renaissance twin windows on the west and east fronts. Magnificent rustik main portal on the north facade with the double coats of arms of Hallegg-Thannhausen and Kronegg-Zinsendorff (1688) held by lions. In the south wing (box) the former stables with vaults on pillars are at ground level. Small courtyard with walled up arcades and traces of sgraffito decor. 1996 Exposure and conservation of friezes from the Renaissance period .

The church is a large rectangular structure. Originally the choir was on the east side; The (former) Chorturmjoch goes back to a Romanesque building, which was supplemented by Gothic side choirs after being destroyed by the Turks in the 15th century. Around 1770 a baroque renovation took place, from which the semicircular west apse, the east facade and the paintings in the nave originate. The furnishings include the high altar with a painting of Michael, four side altars and the pulpit decorated with baroque relief. There are several Roman monuments on and in the church.

This niche shrine is a building with massive masonry and rough plaster. The niche opens to the east into a round arch with wrought ironwork. The two side windows are glazed. The monument has a pronounced cornice, the tip of the eternit roof is, like the crowning cross, gilded. The baroque carved figure of Saint Nepomuk dates from the 18th century.

Hetzelburg. Old settlement area, as finds from the Bronze Age prove. First mentioned in a document in 879. From 1100 to the second half of the 15th century it was owned by the Count Palatine of Görz, then by the Habsburgs and from 1501 to 1630 by the Ernau family, from 1633 by Baron von Kronegg and from 1708 by Goëss . From the early 16th century after the construction of the new castle, it fell into disrepair. Extensive facility on three hills (Raut hill in the north, Thurner hill in the south-west and Arnulf hill in the south-east), over a moorland about a kilometer west of the village between the north-west bank of the Mitterteich and the state road. Extensive, partly badly dilapidated complex; three self-contained, different old building complexes: the oldest fortification (Carolingian “heribergium”) demonstrably on the Rauthügel, the main castle from the 12th-14th centuries. During the Carolingian era, the church was richly adorned with wickerwork stone and was located in an extensive cemetery from the late 10th century with over 400 burials. In the following period it was built over in Romanesque-Gothic style. The building was first mentioned in a document in 1217. Due to a fire in 1879, only the remains of the wall are visible. On the triumphal arch to the apse there are four marble slabs as steps with a size of around 40 × 50 cm. In the northernmost one, a special feature is a mill game.

The church has a profiled, ogival west portal, a south-facing sacristy tower with a pointed helmet and a choir with a 5/8 end and stocky buttresses. The tower and choir have an upper floor. Wall paintings in the nave date from the 14th century. The high altar from 1680, like the left side altar, is richly decorated with cartilage.

The Karner in the cemetery of the parish church Sankt Egyd is a two-story Romanesque round building from the middle of the 12th century with an ossuary below. It has a small semicircular apse and is covered by a stone cone roof and inside by a flat ceiling. The external appearance is largely original.
