The predecessor of the church was a chapel building mentioned in a document in 1570 and enlarged in 1687. From 1712 to 1714 the church was rebuilt and expanded in 1786/1787. In 1969 the nave was expanded again. The four-bay nave with a projecting central axis has a steep gable roof and a recessed polygonal choir. The tower is attached to the south, it has an octagonal tower and an onion helmet . The two-storey sacristy is attached to the choir. The interior of the hall is closed off with a flat, pointed arch barrel, the drawn-in, single-bay choir with a three-sided end. The vault paintings are by Johannes Vögeler , inscribed in 1787, a. a. with scenes from the life of St. Oswald . The bronze relief on the portal was created by Jos Pirkner , inscribed in 1972.

After the Second World War, a war memorial was erected in a chapel niche in the substructure of the choir of the church to commemorate the fallen and missing. It contains a life-size figure of Christ in the dungeon (around 1770), which is attributed to either Josef Klemens Witwer or Johann (es) Ladner .

The building core of the exposed farmhouse is presumably in the northern area on the mountain side; a dendro date (felling date) of 1425 could be determined for this part . The expansion of the building into its current form took place in 1725, according to the inscription on the ridge purlin , whereby the building was probably renewed and raised on the valley side.

The basement level on the valley side, the ground floor on the mountain side and the kitchen part protruding from the building line on the west side are partly rendered in quarry stone masonry, the rest of the building is made of logs and wooden framing on the upper floor . Access to the upper floor is via a single-flight wooden staircase on the south side with a simple wooden railing. Flat gable roof.

The church was built in 1729 in place of a chapel destroyed by an avalanche and expanded in 1786/1787. The simple baroque building has a steep, clapboard-covered gable roof, a retracted polygonal choir and a mighty entrance tower with an octagonal tower and onion dome . Simple, framing plaster decor on the facades. The interior consists of a uniformly designed, three-bay hall with rounded corners and a flat needle cap barrel , a retracted round arched choir and a continuous gallery above the entrance. The wall paintings are by Josef Degenhart from 1787.

The cemetery is surrounded by a wall, the graves are mostly occupied with wrought iron crosses. The small cemetery chapel with a gable roof is accessible from the gable side. In the southern wall of the cemetery is a niche shrine with a gable roof over natural stone pillars, inside there is a bronze cross and name plates of the fallen and missing of the Second World War.

The heart of the diagonally divided courtyard dates from the 18th century. Until the beginning of the 20th century it served as an inn, since then as a residential building.
