The building with a centrally positioned tower is structured by high, narrow ribbon windows with concrete struts. Inside, the simple hall with a ceiling soffit has an organ loft on pillars and a raised altar area with a mural by Willy Fries .

The elongated, one to two-story building of the Reutte train station from 1905 is structured by the central entrance area and two strong corner projections. The portal area and the ticket hall were rebuilt around 1970. A covered walkway to the tracks. To the north of the reception building there is a goods warehouse, designed as a half-timbered building with a gable roof.

This locomotive shed of the Ausserfernbahn was built in 1905. The property consists of the locomotive shed, which has recently been extended, and an almost rectangular office building with a high mansard roof. The single-track locomotive shed is designed as a half-timbered building with a steep gable roof.

The castle in a dominant position on a rock ridge south of Reutte was built under Count Meinhard II as the administrative seat for the Ehrenberg court and also served as a border fortress. In 1541 it was destroyed in the Schmalkaldic War , after which it was expanded into the largest fortress in the country , especially in the Thirty Years' War . After it was abandoned as a border fortress in 1783 under Joseph II , the castle began to fall into disrepair. The extensive complex encloses a rectangular courtyard, in front of which are a kennel and a mighty bastion tower.

The branch church with a hall, semicircular end of the choir and a tower based on a baroque scheme was built in 1955 according to plans by Erich Corazza. Inside, the flat-roofed hall has a ceiling painting of the Assumption and Coronation of Mary, created in 1957 by Wolfram Köberl .

The hermitage, which has been verifiable since 1317 and blocked the valley and the road, was expanded under Duke Siegmund in the 15th century to a two-story building with a granary, tavern, customs and post office. Bartolomeo Lucchese gave the hermitage its current form with a gate passage, inner courtyard and elevated tract in the west in 1607/09 .

The Franciscan monastery in the center of the village was founded in 1628, while the previously existing St. Anne's Church was integrated into the monastery complex. The Gothic choir was retained and a new baroque nave was built. After a fire, the church was renovated in 1864. The simple long building has high arched windows, a recessed polygonal choir and a massive south tower with an onion dome. The two-storey monastery building adjoining the church to the south encloses a courtyard with a cloister.

The former prison, which is essentially late medieval, was probably expanded in the 17th century. In 2002 it was rebuilt and a connecting wing to the district court was built. The three-storey building with a hipped gable roof has a plaster on the facades division by Ortsteine and floor division.

One of the oldest inns in the village, which originally also included a brewery, a guest garden and stables, dates from the second half of the 18th century in its current form. The two-storey building with a purlin roof has a richly designed portal with baroque facade painting. The painting above the portal shows a six-horse carriage, it was created in memory of Emperor Joseph II's overnight stay in 1777. On the gable facade there is a baroque statue of the Madonna in a round arch niche, on the corner a wrought-iron pub cantilever with a golden crown. The interior houses a wide arched central corridor, a room with a wooden field ceiling and a vaulted room with a central column.

The mighty three-storey building with a purlin roof was built in the second half of the 18th century. The facades are adorned with classicist architectural painting (column portal, pilaster structure and window frames) and a representation of the resurrection of Christ in the gable, which was probably created around 1800 by Josef Anton Köpfle . Inside, the division of the rooms on both sides of the wide, arched hallway has largely been preserved.

The building, which dates from the 18th century, was acquired by the Sisters of Mercy in 1877 and served as an orphanage from 1879–1939, as a school home from 1954–1986, and since 2004 as a day care center and day care center. The three-storey building with a purlin roof is accessed on the gable side via a central floor plan. On the undivided facade there is a round arch portal with a frame panel door, above it a polygonal bay window with a tent roof.

The chapel was built between 1611 and 1635, renewed around 1654, received its east tower in 1672 and the onion dome in 1767. In the course of the Josephine reforms it was closed and reopened in 1796. In 1954 it was converted into a war memorial based on plans by Robert Wurzer. The interior consists of a groin vaulted vestibule, a two-bay nave with a stitch cap vault and a recessed choir with a star vault. The sgraffito of the crucifixion on the entrance facade and the frescoes on the choir arch were created by Max Spielmann in 1954 . The crucifix comes from Franz Staud .

The exchanger house is a brick-built three-, four-story building under the gable with a gable roof on a rectangular floor plan from the 16th / 17th century. In the gable fields further windows and four oval ventilation openings each. The west-side main facade is nine-axis and a little to the right of the center has a baroque basket arch portal with a double-winged entrance door and skylight. Around the portal, two pillars and an entablature with a cartouche are indicated in an illusionistic architectural painting. The translucent architectural outline is continued by fluted corner pilasters on all four sides and rocaillegerahmte window from the first floor. The gable fresco depicting the Immaculate from 1776 is attributed to Johann Jakob Zeiller . Inside, the building has a center floor plan on all three floors , which is somewhat disturbed on the ground floor by the installation of business premises. Most of the rooms have finely crafted stucco ceilings.

The house currently serves as a music school.

Today the building is home to the Reutte market town museum. There are works by the famous Zeiller family and by Anna Stainer-Knittel , better known as "Geierwally". Further topics are the eventful history of the Reutte market, salt trade and Ehrenberg Castle . Annual special exhibitions.

The South Tyrolean settlement was built 1940–1943 by Ludwig Schweizer based on plans by Helmut Erdle . It consists of 13 semi-detached houses, four terraced houses and one single house, which are arranged like a street village in varying orientations. The two to three-storey houses have typical elements of the pseudo-Tyrolean architecture of the Nazi era such as ornate bay windows, shutters and partially wood-paneled balconies. The murals in the style of the National Socialist "blood and soil" romanticism show depictions such as farming families, couples in traditional costumes or coats of arms.

The core of the former inn "Zur Güldenen Rosen" probably dates from the 15th century, it was partially destroyed in the fire in 1704 and then rebuilt in a baroque style. Under the Bavarian occupation it served as a rent office (tax office), then as the main customs office building. The oldest part is a built-in residential tower with a steep pitched roof that towers above the building. The baroque extension to the north has a pilaster-adorned stone portal with a blown gable and rich facade paintings from the late 18th century.

Construction of the fortress began in 1726 and, after being temporarily suspended, was completed in 1741 with a temporary roof. Today there are still remains of the defensive walls that encompassed the entire dome, the battery , the barracks with bomb-proof vaults and the cistern . The entrance was secured with a casemated hornwork made of carefully hewn, precisely layered stones and blocks.

The salt barn, originally 64 m long, built in 1679, was redesigned in Baroque style in 1774. It was originally located in Lermoos, was moved to the Ehrenberger Klause around 2000/2005 and adapted here as an event hall. The single-storey building with a rectangular floor plan is partly made of quarry stone masonry, partly as a post construction and has a purlin roof with an elaborately designed framing. Some of the interiors have been preserved in their original form and have baroque wooden columns.

Fort Claudia (Hochschanz) opposite Ehrenberg Castle was built by Elias Gumpp between 1639 and 1645 to protect the Ehrenberger Klause and castle on behalf of Claudia de 'Medici . Today remains of the core work, which was surrounded by a courtyard and a mantle wall with artillery slots, are preserved. Three corners are reinforced by bastions.
