The parish church was built in several stages, the current, originally Protestant building dates from 1527 and 1555 (?), In 1722 it was converted into a Catholic church after the Catholic church was destroyed (probably by flooding) and this church was destroyed by the Catholics was taken. The last renovation took place in 1898.

The two-bay choir with a 5/8 end has a vault with plaster ridges in the shape of a diamond star, which rest on semicircular services with bulging capitals, pointed arched windows and semicircular service-like pillars also on the outside. A constricted round arched front arch separates the choir from the wide nave, which is designed as a hall with a flat ceiling. The nave has neo-Gothic pointed arched windows and a side chapel to the south and north. The roof turret wears an eight-sided pointed helmet. The sacristy north of the choir has a lancet barrel vault.

The neo-Gothic interior dates from 1899 and 1900. The high altar shows a picture of St. Andreas and is called Felix Barazzutti 1899 . Two baroque statues of hll. Florian and Leonhard come from the 1st half of the 18th century. The large plague votive picture bears a chronogram 1715 and is marked Georg Lercher 1717 . Wappenstein by Victor von Pranckh , died 1584. Relief stones from Roman times are immured in the church under the pulpit and in the churchyard wall .
