120 years after the Battle of Wörgl (1809), on May 13, 1928, a monumental fountain was erected in the place of the current town hall building with St. Knight Georg and the then inscription Den Helden the Heimat in memory of those who fell in the struggle for freedom and the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of the Wörgler who died in the course of both world wars were incorporated into the memorial with the current inscription The Fallen of the World Wars and the memorial was re-erected at its current location, south of the parish church.

Wörgl's oldest monument was unveiled in 1909 by Archduke Eugen von Habsburg at the former cemetery next to the church for the 100th anniversary of the fights and the fallen in 1809 . The monument has stood on the main portal of the church since 1912. The country striker who was created by Christian Plattner and mourned the fallen is popularly known as "Wörgler Rearer". What is special about the monument is that it does not represent a pose of victory or triumph, but one of mourning and respect for the fallen. The coats of arms of the countries of Tyrol and Bavaria, which then went to war against each other, are also incorporated into the base.

Since the construction of the Giselabahn by Wörgl also saw an enormous increase in the number of students, the construction of this building as a primary school began in 1875 (140 students). In 1901 (387 students) the north wing was expanded, but the south wing became necessary as early as 1903 (492 students). Nevertheless, as early as 1930, unimaginable conditions with around 80 students per class prevailed, which resulted in the secondary school in the east of the community. During the Second World War, the elementary school became a "school barracks" because the main school building was converted into a hospital. In the 1950s, a new elementary school was finally built next to the secondary school, and the old school building was converted into an adult education center and music school. The local history museum is now on the ground floor of the building.

1970–1973 the Viennese architect Viktor Hufnagl implemented the then revolutionary concept of an indoor school consisting of a natural science federal high school, a commercial academy, a commercial school, two directorates, two gyms, a civil defense room and an indoor swimming pool for the city of Wörgl. The total area is 20,218 m², whereby a 105 × 99 m building complex was erected on 8,915 m², which presents itself as a broad stepped pyramid and at its core has a large public atrium with space for approx. 3500 people. When it opened, it was praised as one of the most modern school buildings in Austria, but around 1980 a number of structural damage had to be repaired and the exploding number of students was met with renovation work. In 2001–2003 extensive renovation and expansion work was carried out, with the indoor pool being converted into a new gym.

The chapel was built in 1900 by Michael Ruech, the owner of the Riedhart-Hof. Ruech was known in Wörgl as the original because of the Gstanzln and derisive poems he wrote . In 1979 a comprehensive restoration and artistic redesign of the chapel took place.

The simple, single-bay, rectangular wall construction with a straight choir closure and saddle roof is accessed on the gable side via a double-wing segmented arched door. The wall painting Maria with Child in a round medallion above the door was made by Wörgl artist Franz Schunbach in 1979. A segmented arched window on each side of the eaves. The architectural structure of the facades is done by color-accentuated plaster pocket frames on windows and doors as well as wall edges. Inside there is a flat barrel vault and a barred altar niche.
