The previous building was an early medieval hall building with an approximately square choir from the 8th century, a west tower from the 12th century and one in the 14th / 15th. Presbytery built in the 19th century. Today's baroque church was built in 1681/1682 and consecrated in 1698. It was damaged by fire in 1703 and 1809 and then restored. The tower protruding from the west facade has an octagonal bell storey and an onion helmet with a lantern. The facades are designed with pilasters and window reveals rounded at the top and bottom. Inside, the three-bay, wide nave is vaulted by a flat barrel and lancet caps , the single-bay choir is vaulted by a lancet barrel on pieces of entablature. The two-storey west gallery rests on ionizing columns. The ceiling frescoes with the vocation and crucifixion of St. Andreas date from 1817 and are attributed to Franz Altmutter .

The Passion Play House was built between 1957 and 1959 according to plans by the architect Robert Schuller . The building is considered an icon of post-war modernism as well as an acoustic masterpiece.

Katzenstein Castle was built in the late 14th or early 15th century at the foot of the Kranzhorn after Kufstein came to the Duke of Bavaria-Ingolstadt. The facility served to strengthen the border with the Duke of Bavaria-Munich.

Description: Brief information about the monument.

The table is sorted alphabetically according to the location of the monument. The sorting criterion is the cadastral municipality and within this the address.
