The parish church of Our Lady of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is a hall building, which is essentially Gothic and which was decisively changed in the 18th century. It is surrounded by the former cemetery wall with niches of the cross. The church was officially baroque in 1733/1735 according to plans by Jakob Singer . The church has a retracted polygonal choir, two-storey annexes on the sides, the nave has five bays. The presented mighty west tower with round-arched twin windows in the bell storey wears a pointed helmet over curved gables. On the south side of the nave there are two marble arched portals with fighters , one of them with a volute wedge. The windows are arched. Inside barrel vault with stitch caps on pillars with pilasters and pieces of entablature. The two-storey west gallery, curved several times, rests on Tuscan columns, the upper gallery has a balustrade. The round arched, retracted triumphal arch separates the nave from the three-bay choir. The lateral arched marble portals have carved doors ( Georg Thumb , 1733/1735), above which there are small side galleries. The stucco work comes from Hans Singer around 1735: capitals, foliage - banded work pieces in the vault and above the windows. On the fourth northern pillar of the nave there is a late Gothic fresco fragment of the lion of St. Mark. The baroque ceiling paintings are inscribed by Matthias Ruef from 1784: in the choir the birth of Mary, in the nave a ceiling-filling medallion of the Coronation of Mary. In 1956 a renovation took place.
