List of the Saudi Arabian ambassadors in Germany

In 1933 the son of Abd al-Aziz ibn Saud , Faisal ibn Abd al-Aziz , visited Berlin on a trip to Europe . Negotiations on arms imports and the accreditation of an ambassador of the German Reich in Jeddah had been going on since 1937 .

Until 2000 the embassy was located in the Steineck house in Bonn, which today functions as the residence of the Saudi Arabian ambassador in Bonn . The current embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is located at Tiergartenstrasse 33–34, Berlin.

The Saudi king belongs to the Saud dynasty and has held the title of Guardian of the Holy Places since 1986, accordingly the official title of the ambassador is Arabic سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين - برلين (Ambassador of the Guardian of the Two Holy Mosques - Berlin)
