The list of archeology prizes contains prizes donated for services in the field of archeology / prehistory and early history .
For outstanding scientific achievements:

- Eduard Anthes Prize for Archeology
- Dr. Heinz Cüppers Prize from the Rheinisches Landesmuseum Trier
- German Archeology Prize from the German Society for Prehistory and Early History
- Werner Coblenz Prize
- Archeology Prize of the Foundation for the Promotion of Archeology in the Rhenish Lignite District , awarded at irregular intervals since 1993
- Tübingen Prize for Older Prehistory and Quaternary Ecology
- Friedrich Behn Prize of the City of Lorsch
- Friedrich Lisch Monument Prize of the State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
- Father Fuchs Prize , Mainz
- European Archeology Prize Joseph Déchelette , Bibracte / Glux-en-Glenne
- Human Roots Award from the Archaeological Research Center and Museum for Human Behavioral Evolution, Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum , Leibniz Research Institute for Archeology
The prizes are specially designed for young scientists:
- German Study Prize for Archeology of the DGUF, donated in 2011, since 2013
- Sponsorship award of the Archaeological Society Schleswig-Holstein for young scientists
- Rudolf Virchow Prize
- Barbara Scholkmann Young Talent Award for Historical Archeology , since 2018 (replaces the Tübingen Award for Historical Archeology )
Prices for communicating archaeological knowledge to the public:
- Ceram Prize from the Rheinisches Landesmuseum Bonn
- Winckelmann Medal from the city of Stendal
Institutional awards:
In addition, there are various regional sponsorship awards that also take archaeological research into account in addition to other specialist areas:
