This list of sacred buildings in Pisa includes Christian churches and places of worship of other religious communities in the territory of the municipality of Pisa , Tuscany . Desecrated churches and the remains of former churches are also listed.

The following districts are listed: within the medieval city walls from 1155, which define the city center of Pisa until today, are the quarters of Santa Maria (north of the Arno , west), San Francesco (north of the Arno, east), and San Martino (south of the Arno , East) and Sant'Antonio (south of the Arno, west).

Districts directly adjacent to the city center in front of the former city gates are, starting from the north, clockwise: Porta a Lucca , Porta a Piagge , Porta Fiorentina , San Marco , San Giusto , Porta a Mare and Porta Nuova .

The districts mentioned here that lie further outside are starting from the north and clockwise: I Passi , Pratale , Pisanova , Cisanello , Riglione , Putignano , Oratoio , Sant'Ermete , Le Rene , Coltano , Calambrone , Tirrenia , Marina di Pisa , San Piero a Grado , Barbaricina , CEP and San Rossore .

Mentioned from 1086, facade at the end of the 12th century, the campanile dates from the 17th century. Was church of the Augustinians from the 15th century , today desecrated, houses parts of the plaster collections of the University of Pisa.

Also San Piero , mentioned from 1169, destroyed in World War II, restored in 1993. Serves social and cultural purposes.

The three-aisled Romanesque monastery church, mentioned since 1029, belonged to the Benedictines and from the 12th century to the Camaldolese order . Desecrated today, used for art exhibitions.
