The list of fatalities in demonstrations in the Federal Republic of Germany since 1949 includes those who died in demonstrations in the Federal Republic of Germany and in West Berlin .

Klaus Frings 32 Press photographer April 17, 1968 Munich Klaus Frings was hit by a stone during a demonstration against the Springer Group after the assassination attempt on Rudi Dutschke and later succumbed to his injuries.
Olaf Ritzmann 16 Carpenter apprentice August 29, 1980 Hamburg During a demonstration against an election campaign appearance by Franz Josef Strauss on August 25, while fleeing from the police at Sternschanzenbahnhof, he was hit by an S-Bahn train and died four days later from his injuries
Klaus-Jürgen Rattay 18th September 22, 1981 West Berlin He was fatally wounded by a bus during a demonstration against the eviction of occupied houses .
Günter Sare 36 Machinist September 28, 1985 Frankfurt am Main He was run over by a water cannon during a demonstration against the NPD in which there was a street battle between militant anti-fascists and neo-Nazis . The Frankfurt Regional Court acquitted the water cannon crew of the accusation of negligent homicide. Sare, who was under the influence of drugs at the time of the accident, had not evaded the vehicle and, according to the court ruling, had misjudged the traffic situation.

Conny Wessmann 24 Student November 17, 1989 Goettingen In the context of violent clashes between right-wing extremist skinheads and autonomous people in downtown Göttingen, civil investigators tried to bring an anti- fascist group to which Wessmann belonged. While trying to escape the police on a busy road, Wessmann was hit by a car and fatally injured.
Alexander Kludt 27 Nurse July 10, 1999 Berlin Alexander Kludt was stabbed to death during the Love Parade in 1999. The Love Parade was officially registered as a political demonstration until 2001.
Steffen Meyn 26th journalist 19th September 2018 Hambach Forest As part of the protest actions against the clearing of the Hambach Forest , the 26-year-old man broke through a suspension bridge and fell at least 15 meters into the depth. He had been documenting the life of the environmentalists in the tree houses for a long time . Due to his severe injuries, he died shortly afterwards.
