criticism

The Austrian ballet critics Alec Kinnear and Florian Krenstetter praise Konowalova's dance work. Kinnear describes the style of the ballerina as follows: “Konovalova is an energetic and physically strong dancer with excellent technique; despite the almost childlike face of Konovalova, her dance is full of gloomy impatience, harshness and indolence ”.

The Russian art historian Anna Galajda emphasized the “perfectionism” with which Konovalova approaches the “poetry of the [ballet] classics”.

In art

In 2013 the artist Casanova dedicated one of his works to Sorolla Konovalova. The painting is a 1.5 x 3 m canvas showing a series of Konowalowa's ballet tip prints while dancing a ballet part.
