Lyudmila Ninova

Lyudmila Ninova ( Bulgarian Людмила Нинова , Lyudmila Ninowa, English transcription Lyudmila Ninova, also Ninova-Rudoll ; born June 25, 1960 in Kula ) is an Austrian long and three jumper of Bulgarian origin.

In 1986 she was fifth in the long jump at the European Indoor Championships in Madrid and at the European Championships in Stuttgart , in 1987 ninth at the World Championships in Rome and second at the Universiade

After gaining Austrian citizenship, she finished seventh in the long jump at the 1991 World Championships in Tokyo . In 1992 she was third in the long jump and fifth in the triple jump at the European Indoor Championships in Genoa . In the long jump of the Olympic Games in Barcelona , she was eliminated from the qualification. 1993 followed a seventh place at the World Indoor Championships in Toronto in the long jump, a sixth in the same discipline and an eleventh place in the triple jump at the World Championships in Stuttgart .

The following year she won silver in the long jump at the European Indoor Championships in Paris and was fifth at the European Championships in Helsinki . In the same discipline she was eliminated from the qualification at the 1995 World Championships in Gothenburg and fifth at the 1996 European Indoor Championships in Stockholm . At the Olympic Games in Atlanta and the 1997 World Championships in Athens , she did not get beyond the preliminary round in the long jump.

From 1991 to 1997 she was Austrian champion in the long jump seven times in a row. In the hall she won the national title six times in this discipline (1991-1994, 1996, 1997).
