Loc-Eguiner-Saint-Thégonnec ( Breton Ar C'hloastr-Plourin ) is a town and commune Déléguée in the commune of Saint-Thégonnec Loc-Eguiner with 317 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Finistère in the region of Brittany .

The municipality of Loc-Eguiner-Saint-Thégonnec was merged with the former municipality of Saint-Thégonnec with effect from January 1, 2016 and merged into the Commune nouvelle Saint-Thégonnec Loc-Eguiner . It belonged to the arrondissement of Morlaix and the canton of Saint-Thégonnec .

geography

The place is about 20 kilometers south of the Atlantic coast on the edge of the Regional Natural Park Armorique ( French Parc naturel régional d'Armorique ).

Morlaix is 16 kilometers northwest, Brest 38 kilometers west and Paris about 460 kilometers east. The river Penzé runs west of the village .

Infrastructure

At Guimiliau and Saint-Thégonnec there are departures on the E-50 section Brest - Rennes and regional train stations on the mostly parallel railway line. There are regional airports near the cities of Brest and Rennes .
