The Penzé is a coastal river in France that runs in the Finistère department in the Brittany region . It rises in the Armorique Regional Nature Park , on the northern flank of the Monts d'Arrée , in the municipality of Plounéour-Ménez , drains in an arc from west to north and flows 40 kilometers between the municipal areas of Saint-Pol-de-Léon and Carantec in the Bay of Morlaix in the English Channel . Below the hamlet of the same name, Penzé , the river is already exposed to the tides and forms an estuary .
