The Lomnický potok (German Lamnitzbach , also Lammitzbach or Lammitzer Bach ) is a right tributary of the Teplá in the Czech Republic .

course

The Lomnický potok rises one kilometer northwest of the desert Doupovské Mezilesí ( Olitzhaus ) on the military training area Hradiště in the Duppau Mountains . Its source is at the western foot of the Nad Ovčarnou ( In der Öd , 912 m nm) or southeast of the Větrovec (901 m nm) on the cadastre Bražec u Hradiště . On its upper reaches the brook flows in a south-westerly direction between the Javorná or U Ruské věže ( Ehacker , 912 m nm) and the Vysoká pláň ( High Egge , 890 m nm). South of the Plešivec ( Plesselberg , 842 m nm) stretched the elongated village of Dlouhá ( Langgrün ) before the establishment of the military area, on the left side above the valley was the settlement of Kostelní Hůrka ( Am Berge ). Below the Wüstung Horni Mlýn ( Obermuhle ) of the Lomnický fed brook the pond Zelený rybník. Below the pond, the stream leaves the evacuated area of the Hradiště military training area and reaches Horní Tašovice ( Obertaschwitz ), where it is bridged by the E 48 / expressway R 6 between Karlovy Vary and Bochov . In the upper village of Horní Tašovice a ditch branches off to the left, which feeds the Tašovický rybník ( Taschwitzer pond ) and in the lower village flows back into the Lomnický potok. Below Tašovický Mlýn ( Taschwitzer Mill ) the stream north of Kozel (697 m nm) changes its course to the northwest and flows through the village of Dlouhá Lomnice ( Langlamnitz ). Below Dlouhá Lomnice, the Velký lomnický rybník pond is fed via a ditch on the left. The Lomnický potok flows past the deserted springhäuseln to Pila , where it again takes a south-westerly direction through the landscape protection area Slavkovský les and is dammed between Pila, Kolová , Nové Stanovice and Stanovice in the dam Stanovice . The stream leaves the dam again in a north-westerly direction. On its last three kilometers the Lomnický potok flows through a deep notch valley past Háje ; At the Zámecký vrch (Castle Hill, 624 m nm) with the remains of the Funkštein Castle ( Funkenstein ) it takes north direction. After 26.7 kilometers, the Lomnický potok flows into the Teplá in Březová below the Březová dam .

The brook is considered to be a fishing water.
