Lorenzo Leuzzi (born September 25, 1955 in Trani ) is an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Teramo-Atri .

Life

The cardinal vicar and archpriest of the Lateran Basilica , Ugo Cardinal Poletti , ordained him on June 2, 1984 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on January 31, 2012 auxiliary bishop in Rome and titular bishop of Aemona . The cardinal vicar and archpriest of the Lateran Basilica , Agostino Vallini , donated him and the auxiliary bishop Matteo Maria Zuppi, who was appointed at the same time, the episcopal ordination on April 14 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Giovanni Battista Pichierri , Archbishop of Trani-Barletta-Bisceglie , and Vincenzo Paglia , Bishop of Terni-Narni-Amelia .

On November 23, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Teramo-Atri . The inauguration took place on January 20 of the following year.
