Lou Duva (born May 28, 1922 in New York City , New York , USA - † March 8, 2017 in Paterson , New Jersey , USA ) was an American boxer , boxing trainer and manager. As a coach, he was considered one of the most important. He is the brother of Carl Duva and the father of Dan Duva . The Duva family promoted boxing in over 20 countries on 6 continents.
