Louisa Lagaris (born February 4, 1995 in Hof ) is a German - Greek female soccer player .

Career

Lagaris started her career at VfL Issigau at the age of five in the G-Jugend together with her twin brother Konstantin . After six years she switched to the JugendFörderGemeinschaft (JFG) Höllental and stayed there for two seasons. She then moved to the girls' team at 1. FC Nürnberg on July 1, 2008 . The central midfielder played in the youth team of 1. FC Nürnberg until the summer of 2010 and moved to the Bundesliga club FF USV Jena in 2010 . Lagaris made her senior debut for the Jena Reserve in the 2nd Bundesliga North on August 28, 2011 against Herford SV . She made her debut in the top German division on February 26, 2012 (13th matchday) in a 2-1 win at home against SG Essen-Schönebeck when she came on for Vivien Beil in the 90th minute . On May 31, 2012 Lagaris signed her first professional contract until June 30, 2014 with the FF USV Jena. After she did not want to extend her expiring contract with FF USV Jena, she switched to the newly promoted Herford SV in July 2014 and signed a two-year contract there. In March 2016, she was injured during training and was out for several months. She left Herford in the summer of 2016 . In July 2016 she returned to the FF USV Jena.

National team

Since October 2011, she has been a member of the U-17 national team . On September 6, 2013, she was appointed to the German U-19 national soccer team for the first time , for a short tournament in Burton-upon-Trent , England . On October 23, 2013 Lagaris scored her first international goal for the U-19 national team against the selection of Sweden in Ulm . On February 18, 2014 Lagaris was nominated by U-20 national coach Maren Meinert for the international trip to La Manga, Spain (from February 27 to March 6, 2014). From April 2 to 10, 2014, Lagaris was in the German squad for the UEFA elite round for the U19 European Championship in Belgium, where she scored her second goal for the U19. In June 2014 Louisa Lagaris will be nominated for the World Cup preparation course I with an international match against Denmark's U23 from June 22nd to 25th in Kiel.

Private

Lagaris, born in the Franconian court as the daughter of the Greek Alexandros Lagaris and the German Sabine Zeus, grew up in Issigau . Her grandfather Johann Zeus played in the 2nd Oberliga Süd for SpVgg Bayreuth from 1960 to 1961 .

In addition to her active football career, she attended GuthsMuths Sportgymnasium in Jena, where she won gold in football in youth training for the Olympics in September 2011. After she left Jena in the summer of 2014, Lagaris continues her education at the Königin-Mathilde-Gymnasium in Herford , where she will do her Abitur in the spring of 2016.
