Love Hurts is the 20th studio album of American pop - singer Cher . It was released on June 18, 1991 on the Geffen Records label.

Production and guest posts

Six producers were involved in the production of Love Hurts . Peter Asher was involved in the production of five songs. Richie Zito produced four tracks on the sound carrier, two of which were created in collaboration with Bob Rock : Save Up All Your Tears and I'll Never Stop Loving You . Diane Warren and Guy Roche also collaborated on the production of two songs. Steve Lukather produced A World Without Heroes .

The only guest contribution on the album comes from Richard Page, who was involved in One Small Step .

Love Hurts debuted on the Billboard 200 on July 6, 1991 at number 81. In the week of August 3, 1991, the record reached number 48 on the American album charts. In the German album charts, Love Hurts rose to number 67 on July 8, 1991 and reached its highest position from number 6 on May 25, 1992. Love Hurts also reached the top of the British charts, where it was able to hold for six weeks. Furthermore, the sound carrier reached the top of the charts in Norway, among others.
