Love and Other Disasters is a romantic comedy from the year 2006 , by Ruby film , Europa Corp. and Skyline Films was produced.

Brittany Murphy portraying a staff member of the British magazine Vogue , is the catalyst for a group of young friends who want to find their love.

action

Jacks, who spent her childhood in the USA, now lives and works in London for the British magazine Vogue . She shares an apartment with her gay friend Peter Simon, a screenwriter. Because she is afraid of a committed relationship, Jacks prefers to spend her free time with her friends and sleeps with her ex-boyfriend James, whom she does not love. Peter, who has never been in a relationship, spends a lot of time dreaming and therefore cannot fall in love with a real person. In the later development of the film everyone sees their mistakes and ultimately there is a happy ending.

The film was presented at the Toronto International Film Festival . The 2008 UK premiere was in London and the film was screened at the gala for the BFI 22nd London Gay and Lesbian Film Festival . The director and producer were also present.

Outfest 2007 will present the film as a special feature of the festival.

The film opened in South Korea on June 14, 2007 with nationwide release under the name Love & Trouble . The film was received positively and came in at number 5 in the statistics in the opening week. By the end of July, more than 266,744 movie tickets had been sold in South Korea, with revenues of approximately $ 1.8 million. The DVD was released on September 6, 2007 in South Korea.
