Luan Santos , full name Luan Vinícius da Silva Santos (born May 14, 1999 in São Paulo ), is a Brazilian football player who is under contract with São Paulo FC . The midfielder is a Brazilian U20 international .

Career

society

In 2010, Luan Santos joined the youth department of São Paulo FC . There he played in various junior selections and was promoted to the first team by head coach Diego Aguirre to replace the injured Jucilei during the 2018 season . On August 22, 2018 (14th matchday) he made his league debut in a 3-1 home win against rivals Corinthians São Paulo when he came on for Edimar Fraga in the 86th minute . Two game days later he was in the 2-0 away win against Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte as a substitute for the suspended Hudson for the first time in the starting lineup of the Tricolor . On October 23, he signed a new four-year contract with the first division club. He missed the end of the season due to an ankle injury. During this season he was used in seven league games in which he was able to book a template.

Luan also missed the start of the 2019 game year due to an injury. He then established himself as a regular under the new head coach Cuca . This season he played 23 league games for São Paulo FC.

National team

Luan Santos has been working for the Brazilian U20 national team since October 2018 . In spring 2019 he took part with the U20s in the 2019 U-20 South American Championship in Chile . There he played eight out of nine games and finished fifth with Brazil.
