Ludwig Hessdörfer

Ludwig Heßdörfer (born January 2, 1894 in Erlabrunn , † February 17, 1988 in Munich ) was a German judge and President of the Federal Fiscal Court .

biography

After attending a humanistic grammar school , he studied law in Würzburg and after graduating as a Dr. jur. participated in the First World War. During his studies he joined the Catholic student association WKSt.V Unitas Bavaria.

After passing the state examination in 1922, he joined the financial administration in 1923 and after the end of the Second World War he was an expert at the Federal Ministry of Finance of Austria between 1945 and 1946 . After working for a trust company in Munich , he first worked for the Munich Regional Finance Office in 1947 and then, between 1948 and 1952, for the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance . There he was initially an advisor for currency issues and soon afterwards Ministerialrat and head of the tax department.

In 1952 he was appointed President of the Nuremberg Regional Tax Office . However, in 1953 he moved to the Federal Ministry of Finance in Bonn , where he was promoted to Ministerial Director and Head of Department I (Human Resources, Organization, General Administration, Public Service Law).

On March 1, 1955, Dr. Ludwig Heßdörfer as successor to Hans Müller President of the Federal Fiscal Court . He held this office until January 31, 1962.

On January 16, 1961, he was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit .

Most recently in 1965 he was the Federal Government Commissioner for the World Transport Exhibition in Munich.
