Ludwig Lenz (politician)

Johann Ludwig Lenz (* December 12, 1764 in Klein-Linden ; † January 16, 1833 ibid) was a Hessian economist and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Ludwig Lenz was the son of Johann Andreas Lenz and his wife Maria Margarethe, née Weigel. Lenz, who was Protestant, was an economist and mayor in Klein-Linden and married Maria Katharina nee Weigel there on May 26, 1789.

From 1820 to 1824 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency of Oberhessen 3 / Heuchelheim .
