Georg Buderus II

Georg Carl Theodor Buderus , also Georg Buderus II , (born April 3, 1808 in Audenschmiede ; † December 8, 1873 in Hirzenhain ) was an entrepreneur and member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation .

Life

Georg Buderus was the son of Johann Buderus (1770–1815) and his wife Sophia Maria Elisabeth nee Spieß. He attended the grammar school in Weilburg , the University of Göttingen and the Bergakademie Freiberg . In 1830 he entered the family business. He was the father of Georg Buderus III and the brother of Hugo Buderus . On July 17, 1836, Georg Buderus, who was a Protestant denomination, married Christina, called Margarethe, born in Hirzenhain (January 25, 1814 to June 5, 1885). He was called Bergrat .

In 1867 he was a member of the constituent Reichstag of the North German Confederation for the constituency of Hesse 2 ( Friedberg , Büdingen , Vilbel ) and the National Liberal Party . In his election, he had no opponents. The turnout was below 10%.

In the 21st electoral term (1874–1875) Georg Buderus was a member of the second chamber of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In the estates he represented the constituency of Upper Hesse 5 / Gießen-Land . He entered the Chamber as a replacement for Georg Buff .
