Ludwig Reiber

Ludwig Reiber (born August 4, 1904 in Munich ; † September 15, 1979 there ) was a German film architect .

He attended the Munich Art Academy and began working for film in 1923 as an assistant to his brother Willy Reiber . Reiber initially worked for Emelka in Munich , where he also designed the two Hitchcock films Maze of Passion and Der Bergadler .

Occasionally he was also active in Berlin film studios, but from the beginning of 1939 until the end of the war only in Munich. After the war, Reiber was also used in four US productions, some of which were made in Bavaria, most recently in the circus melodrama The big attraction with Esther Williams . After that he was in the service of television until the 1970s. His daughter is the television presenter Carolin Reiber .
