Luigi Arrigoni (born June 2, 1890 in Morimondo , Province of Milan , Italy , † July 6, 1948 in Lima , Peru ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .

Life

Luigi Arrigoni received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Milan on January 18, 1922 .

On May 31, 1946, Pope Pius XII appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Apamea in Syria and ordered him to Apostolic Nuncio in Peru . The Cardinal Bishop of Velletri , Clemente Micara , donated him episcopal ordination on July 28 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the official in the Vatican State Secretariat , Archbishop Angelo Rotta , and the Apostolic Nuncio in Estonia and Latvia , Antonino Arata .
