Luis Alberto Barrera Pacheco MCCJ (born November 16, 1966 in Gorgor , Cajatambo , Peru ) is a Peruvian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Tarma .

Life

Luis Alberto Barrera Pacheco joined the Congregation of the Comboni Missionaries in and received on 10 June 1995, the sacrament of Holy Orders . He was pastor , leader of the training of the prospective Combonians in the Central African Republic , provincial of the province of Peru and Chile of the Combonians as well as deputy chairman of the Conferencia de Religiosas y Religiosos del Perú .

On October 25, 2016, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Tarma. He received his episcopal ordination on December 18th of the same year by the Archbishop of Huancayo , Pedro Ricardo Barreto Jimeno SJ . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Ayacucho o Huamanga , Salvador Piñeiro García-Calderón , and the Archbishop of Trujillo , Héctor Miguel Cabrejos Vidarte OFM .
