Luise Wolfram (born July 27, 1987 in Apolda , Erfurt district , GDR ) is a German actress .

Life

Luise Wolfram grew up in Jena . From 2002 to 2005 she was a member of the theater group at the Jena Music and Art School. She finished school in 2006 with a high school diploma.

From 2006 to 2010 Luise Wolfram studied at the state academy for drama "Ernst Busch" Berlin . Her final staging of seducibility on both sides took place at the bat-studiotheater under the direction of Matthias Günther . After graduating, she received an offer from the Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz . There she was part of the permanent ensemble from 2010 to 2015. She has been working as a freelancer since 2015; but she continues to perform at the Berlin Schaubühne.

Her aunt is the actress Claudia Geisler .

In her first production she was seen as Brunhild in Die Nibelungen , directed by Marius von Mayenburg . Various productions followed, such as B. Protect Me , directed by Falk Richter (Choreography: Anouk van Dijk). The renewed collaboration for For the disconnected Child was a collaboration with the Berlin State Opera. In this piece Richter brought stage acting, dance and music together. The piece won the Friedrich Luft Prize in 2014 . Wolfram also worked several times with Michael Thalheimer, including in Tartuffe .

In Eugene Onegin she was seen as Olga under the direction of the Latvian director Alvis Hermanis . He staged in 2012 summer guests of Maxim Gorky , in Wolfram took over the role of Juliet Fillipowna. Furthermore, there was a collaboration with Katie Mitchell , which Miss Julie staged, where Wolfram took over the title role of the same name. The successful production has been traveling all over the world since its premiere. Other directors were: Friederike Heller, Patrick Wengenroth, Volker Lösch , Minah Salehpur, Jan-Christoph Gockel and Jossi Wieler .

With the productions of the Schaubühne, Luise Wolfram has been to many guest performances in different countries. In Asia (Taipei, Beijing and Seoul) the pieces Miss Julie and Tartuffe were shown. In Moscow, Miss Julie was awarded the theater prize “The Golden Mask” in 2013 and Tartuffe in 2015 . She has also made guest appearances in Canada and Brazil as well as in Europe with the Schaubühne in Paris, London, Madrid, Stockholm, Rennes and Ljubljana.

Movie

In addition to her theater work, Luise Wolfram also works for national and international TV and cinema productions. She played her first film role at the age of seven in Helke Misselwitz 's film Engelchen . In 2002 she worked on Polizeiruf 110: Wanda's Last Course , directed by Bernd Böhlich . 2014–2015 she shot alongside Lars Eidinger under the direction of Alexei Utschitel Mathilde - Love changes everything , where she took on the role of the last Russian tsarina . The film premiered in 2017 and is accompanied by ongoing protests in Russia against the portrayal of the tsar in a sexual context. In the same year she embodied the role of "Isabella von Knigge" in the movie Hanni & Nanni - More than best friends .

She was also seen in the television dramas Out of the Curve , Never More Like Always , The Criminalist and Beside the Track . In the Bremen crime scene with the investigative team Lürsen and Stedefreund , Wolfram played the role of BKA specialist Linda Selb from 2016 to 2019 .
