Lukáš Slavetinský (born June 30, 1981 in Ústí nad Labem , Czechoslovakia ) is a German - Czech ice hockey player who has been under contract with VER Selb in the Oberliga-Süd since 2020 .

Career

Born in Czechoslovakia, he came to Sonthofen with his parents at the age of five and found ice hockey through his uncle, who was under contract there. He played for ERC Sonthofen up to the boys' team and then moved to ESV Kaufbeuren . For this he made his debut during the 1998/99 season in the then fourth-class 2nd League South before he moved to the Erding Jets . With the club, which also appears as a German team , he moved from the major league to the 2nd Bundesliga before the 2000/01 season, but only made 29 appearances in the second division.

In the summer of 2001 Slavetinský moved to the Dresdner Eislöwen in the Oberliga, where he showed his offensive potential for the first time with 33 points from 59 games this season. For the following season he therefore received a contract with EC Bad Tölz from the 2nd Bundesliga, where he could not cope with the style of play remained below his possibilities. Therefore, he decided to return to the league and found a new club in EV Ravensburg , for which he scored 55 points in 54 games this season, setting new personal records. Because of these successes, he received a contract with EHC Freiburg for the following season , where he made his breakthrough in the 2nd Bundesliga with 29 points scorer. Following the 2004/05 season Slavetinský received a contract with the Lausitzer Füchsen , for which he played until November 2005, before he was suspended. A few days later he took part in the training of the Hamburg Freezers and later received a contract until the end of the season.

While preparing for the 2006/07 season, Slavetinský received a fixed-term contract with ERC Ingolstadt , which was extended in November to the end of the season. After this contract expired, he returned to the 2nd Bundesliga and was signed by the SERC Wild Wings .

From the 2008/09 season Slavetinský played with the Ravensburg Towerstars in the 2nd Bundesliga. In January 2014, Slavetinský was released from play after differences over the game tactics with Towerstars coach Petri Kujala , although his contract ran until 2015. A few days later, Slavetinský was committed by the Dresdner Eislöwen until the end of the season, after which Slavetinsky did not rule out a return to Ravensburg, especially since he has a house in the region.

After the end of the 2014/15 season, he asked the Eislöwen to terminate his current contract and returned to the Towerstars in May 2015. There he played three more years before he returned to his hometown club ERC Sonthofen at the age of 37 . There, in addition to his activity as a player, he also holds the post of sports director. After the bankruptcy of ERC Sonthofen, he moved to VER Selb in 2020 .
