Luna Mijović

Luna Zimić Mijović (born December 2, 1991 in Sarajevo , Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian actress .

Life

Luna Mijović comes from Sarajevo and lived in Slovenia and Russia when she was a child . Her mother Amra Zimić is a journalist.

Mijović played her first role in a film when she was 13 years old. At a casting, she got the role of Sara in the movie Esma's Secret , which won the 2006 Golden Bear . She later starred in other films. Among other things, she played the Bosnian chambermaid Ana in the three-part television film series Dreileben . For this role she was praised by the critics, the taz described her performance as "wonderful".

In 2010 Luna Mijovic began studying directing at the Sarajevo Film Academy . After two years, she learned that the faculty had opened illegally and that regular enrollment only began when Mijović was in her sophomore year. She then studied comparative literature at the University of Sarajevo .
