Luzhu ( Chinese 蘆 竹 區 , Pinyin Lúzhú Qū , Hakka Lu-zug-sṳ , Pe̍h-ōe-jī Lô -tek-khu ) is a district in the north of the government- direct city of Taoyuan in Taiwan .

Luzhu is located on the northern edge of Taoyuan City. It is bordered by the Taiwan Strait to the north, New Taipei City and neighboring Guishan District to the east, Taoyuan and Zhongli Districts to the south, and Dayuan District to the west .

After Luzhu was mainly agricultural in the past, the district, especially in the southern district of Nankan, has now increasingly the character of a suburb of the nearby megacities of Taipei and New Taipei . Luzhu is in close proximity to Taiwan Taoyuan Airport and is connected to Taiwan Highway 1 . In the quarter Nankan the most important shopping center Taoyuan, which is TaiMall . The headquarters of the airline EVA Air is also located in Luzhu .
