Lynda Day George

Lynda Day George (* 11. December 1944 as Lynda Day in San Marcos , Texas ) is an American actress .

Life

Day George began her career under her maiden name in the early 1960s. She first played guest roles in television series such as Flipper , Mannix and Bonanza . While filming the John Wayne - Western Chisum , she fell in love with the actor Christopher George , whom she married shortly afterwards. Since then she has performed under her new name. In 1971 she got a recurring role in the television series Cobra, Take Over . She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award in 1972 and an Emmy in 1973 . In the mid-1970s she played supporting roles in the miniseries Roots and Reich und Arm . Until his death in 1983 she appeared in several productions with her husband, including Love Boat , Vegas and Panik in der Sierra Nova . She has had only a few series appearances since then, including a cameo on In a Secret Mission , the remake of Cobra, Take Over Before retiring from acting.

Day was married to actor Doug Cronin from 1985 until his death on December 4, 2010. Day George lives in California and has two children from her three marriages.
