The MAGI'900 is a private art museum in Pieve di Cento , a municipality in the Po Valley in Emilia-Romagna . The museum was born from an idea of ​​the entrepreneur and contemporary art collector Giulio Bargellini, who decided in 2000 to open a space where he could share his passion with the public.

Over 2000 works of contemporary art on 9000 square meters of exhibition space, which expand into an industrial archeology building - a granary silo from the 1930s. Thanks to a project by the architect Giuseppe Davanzo, the silo was converted into a museum, to which two new exhibition structures and a large garden dedicated to sculpture were added in the following years.

The extensive, heterogeneous and high-quality collection offers a journey into Italian and international art of the last hundred years. The eclectic taste and friendship with the artists, the passions and intuitions of their founder and a permanent exhibition and proactive activity have in fact led to the creation of a permanent collection that includes many movements: from the Belle Époque to the latest trends, from from the bright futuristic colors to the metaphysical bronze sculptures by Giorgio de Chirico , from the Maestri Storici del Novecento to the avant-garde of the 1960s and 1970s, from hundreds of miniature images from the Collezione Minima 8x10 , which belonged to Cesare Zavattini, to the production of African and South American ones Artist.
