Make Yourself is the third studio album of alternative rock - band Incubus . It belongs to the " 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die ". Make Yourself was the band's first album with DJ Chris Kilmore, who replaced DJ Lyfe (Gavin Koppell) in 1998.

style

On Make Yourself , Incubus mix elements of alternative rock / alternative metal with those of funk rock / funk metal , as happened on their predecessor SCIENCE . Compared to the previous album, Make Yourself succeeded in doing this more fluently and in a form that was more suitable for the masses.

The album received double platinum from the RIAA .

Singles

The pieces Stellar , Drive and Pardon Me were released as singles. Drive stayed in the German charts from July 9, 2001 to August 26, 2001. Stellar is included in the Thrash and Burn category of the Guitar Hero music game , and Drive can be downloaded from the Acoustic Track Pack for Guitar Hero: World Tour .
