Maniitsoq [ maˈniːt͡sɔq ] (according to the old spelling Manîtsoĸ ) is a deserted Greenlandic settlement in the district of Kangaatsiaq in the municipality of Qeqertalik .

Maniitsoq is located on a small island of the same name in Davis Strait . 14 km northeast is Attu . Maniitsoq was the southernmost inhabited place in North Greenland .

Virtually nothing is known about Maniitsoq. The place to live was probably given up shortly before 1900.
