Aqqitsoq [ ˈɑqːit͡sɔq ] (according to the old spelling Arĸitsoĸ ) is a deserted Greenlandic settlement in the district of Kangaatsiaq in the municipality of Qeqertalik .
location
Aqqitsoq is located in the northwest of an island of the same name between the Tunorsuaq fjord and Tunuarsuk Bay . Ten kilometers to the east is Niaqornaarsuk .
history
Almost nothing is known about Aqqitsoq. The residential area was settled before 1897 and given up in 1905.
