Manon Petit-Lenoir (born December 7, 1998 in Clermont-Ferrand ) is a French snowboarder . She starts in the snowboard cross discipline.

Career

Petit completed her first races in the European Cup in Cortina d'Ampezzo in December 2012 , finishing in 19th and 12th place. In the 2014/15 season, she took sixth place at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2015 and at the 2015 Junior Snowboard World Championships in Yabuli took 17th place. In addition, with third place in Isola 2000 and second place in Lenk, she achieved her first podium places in the European Cup and thus came seventh in the snowboard cross ranking. At the beginning of the 2015/16 season, she made her debut in Montafon in the Snowboard World Cup , finishing in 20th place. In February 2016, she won the gold medal in snowboard cross at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer . In the following month she came in third place three times in the European Cup and won the snowboard cross team championship. In addition, she achieved her first top ten placement in the World Cup with ninth place in Veysonnaz and at the end of the season she reached 18th place in the snowboard cross world cup. At the Snowboard Junior World Championships 2016 in Rogla , she won the bronze medal in snowboard cross and the gold medal together with Gaia Tarasco in the team competition. In December 2016 she came on the podium for the first time in the World Cup with third place in the team competition in Montafon. In mid-February 2017 she won the gold medal at the Junior World Championships in Klínovec, together with Julia Pereira de Sousa Mabileau in the team competition, and also achieved seventh place in the individual. At the Snowboard World Championships 2017 in Sierra Nevada she was fifth in the individual and together with Charlotte Bankes won the silver medal in the team competition. In the 2017/18 season she achieved four top ten placements, including third place in Veysonnaz, 13th place in the snowboard cross world cup and in the 2018/19 season with four top ten placements, tenth place in the snowboard cross world cup . The FIS Snowboard World Championships 2019 in Park City they won the 18th Place.
